Bad Blood

Bad Blood is a writing project begun in 2010 by John Rose and Seth Whaland (Hundts Kup, Natrix Natrix, Literature, Keeled Scales). The goal of the work was to produce some country songs inspired by 1970s-era (and other) "classic" country music. We hoped that the songs could be played out in a band format, but primarily we wanted to share them with others who might consider them for use.

The demos were recorded by Michael Landon at Estuary Recording in 2011. There was another song recorded, Flying Saucer Safari (a Suburban Lawns cover), for a compilation tape that never happened. The search for that song is ongoing.
